- Stop the video at 40 seconds "here's the key" and have the students guess why her history may have been erased.
- Give two pieces of evidence to support the notion that having a female Pharaoh would be problematic.
- Using evidence from the text to support your claim, give one word to describe Hatshepsut's as a leader/ Pharaoh?
- Egyptian leaders chose what was included in historical records. How do these events influence the way we remember her as a ruler? (note: this is a great time to introduce the concept of bias)
